Design of Sorting Waste Containers System

Separated waste collection is one step in the recycling process. For this purpose, containers for recycling are used. This thesis investigates the new concept of containers design towards creating an original and compact solution for cities. The final solution is a set of containers where the key idea is based on the principle of building blocks. Another innovative feature of the design solution is the possibility to choose opening configurations. It provides variability along with adapting to surrounding area. The result is a design concept hat has effectively fulfilled functional, technological, ergonomic and aesthetic needs.

Design of oil distribution transformer

This master thesis deals with the manufacturing process of oil distribution transformers. Firstly, the thesis devotes to the design arrangement of the magnetic circuit and its manufacturing technology. The procedure of cutting laminations for core and their building into the core. Subsequently, the thesis describes technologies used for manufacturing primary and secondary windings including procedures on winding machines. Then it deals with the production of the tank and the final assembly of the transformer into one unit. The next part of the thesis discusses the design procedure of the assigned distribution oil transformer with a numerical calculation while respecting the requirements of the standards. Finally, the costs of the material of the designed transformer are determined.

Výroba vína v nádobách Kvevri

This bachelor thesis is focused on study of home and abroad literature about producing wine in kvevri clay vessels. Historical and nowadays possibilities of using kvevri are being described here. The technology of producing clay vessels and producing wine in it are described as well. A theory gained from the literature is proved by sensory and analytic evaluation of twelve different wines produced by this technology in Czech Republic and abroad. The results of analysis were processed, evaluated and compared. On the basis of the results was recommended a how to continue in a research and how to use the technology in real production. The thesis provide overall view on the technology.

The bowl as a depository of memories.

The work titled "Bowl as a storehouse of memories" is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is briefly outlined basic difference between collection and collecting. As a basic literary source is book called "Have or to be by Erich Fromm". Terms ritual, fetish and totem are in more detail characterized in connection with the collection. The practical part includes the first defining of concept. The realization process of massive glass object requires detailed and flawless familiarity with the entire production process - from the choice of material forms, through a kind fused glass, to dealing with the calculation of melting and cooling including the choice of final finishes. The work also includes pictures.
